My son was "Nominated". Purchase a teacher from his school. We received an invitation in the mail and information technology conspicuously stated the NYLF Envision summer plan in Washington DC. Excited nosotros logged on and signed up. We were told we could do a payment program only had to go out a deposit of $609 that day. Our monthly payment would be $302.We realized after looking closely on the website kind of hidden if you lot enquire me that the programme was actually at Virginia State University in Virginia, not Washington DC as stated. When I chosen in to speak to someone from the admissions function it was explained that yep they stay at Virginia State University but information technology's not a big deal because information technology's shut to Washington. I said why does it say Washington then and I was given the runaround. This as you can imagine left me a little confused and somewhat untrustworthy. I began to await closely online and what I read was that actually this summer'south programme was going to take place at a Marriott in Lafayette Virginia and that there would exist a one day trip to Washington. All guest speakers and activities would take place at said Marriott. This was certainly not what we expected or signed up for or were willing to pay $3000 for. Later a brief family unit word nosotros decided to cancel the plan altogether. When I called in to speak to an admissions officer she would not take no for an answer telling me that no i ever cancels this program and it is highly prestigious, although not affiliated with any government bureau which y'all were actually led to believe that information technology is thinking that information technology takes place in Washington. I finally hung up with her called my husband and asked him to kindly phone call them and accept intendance of canceling as she would not have it. After canceling we were told we would receive our funds in 24 to 48 hours but there would exist $450 deducted from that payment. Now 6 weeks later we still have not received a refund. Nosotros were given the runaround every time we chosen or emailed. We were told we could not speak to a supervisor. Nosotros were told messages were left for supervisors and We would receive calls in 24 hours. Never happened. Today I finally got and admissions representative to give me non one only two supervisors telephone numbers the first of which did not render my call nor would he answer my call despite the fact that I was told my information was passed on to him and he was waiting for my call. Finally a second supervisor called me back he was unapologetic and kind of rude. He then informed me that not only was in that location a $450 fee there was an boosted $49 fee and an additional $40 fee that would be deducted from the monies I paid. When I asked how come I was not notified prior to this about those additional funds existence deducted he simply said I have no thought! I was told over again that part of my money would be refunded to my debit carte and another check was processed on April 8. He and then said when your bank check is candy. I said is it processed or was it processed. He said it will be it's currently in underwriting. Amazing no supervisors no corporate headquarters no contact with anyone but they do have an underwriting team now taking intendance of refund checks. Laughable. Do not sign your kid up for this not legit lowbrow program.
Icky How they miss lead you from the beginning and take your hard earned money and crusade and so much aggravation to even come close to getting a refund.

Beware about Faulty Advertisement
My child was Given a "sponsorship" to envision, nosotros were made to sympathise that the programme that he was going to work in would be working in Washington DC. The advisor said that the programme was closely run in Washington.
After signing up and paying 4 months we heard that the program was not really being run in Washington DC, but in Virginia at the University of VA. Then subsequently looking farther into it and calling, we were told that it would in at the Marriot exterior f the University of VA and have i twenty-four hours trip to Washington.
Each fourth dimension nosotros called about the plan the person answering the phone call would tell us a different story and direct us to the website (that also has the incorrect information). Afterward the fourth such call we decided that if they don't know what the program entails and then why send a child into that environment to stay a hotel, not knowing what or where they will spend their time.
We finally felt that this erroneous program was a mistake and requested a refund. We were told that a refund would take 7- 10 days and they would proceed $450 of the paid totals (for expenses). So far information technology has been nearly a calendar month and nosotros can't get any help from telephone calls and emails. Their only response is that the amount they don't have "on manus" and nosotros will become responded to in 72 hours. This has been the same response that nosotros have gotten every 3 days when we call and email.
We are now in need of legal assistance to become a refund.
How wants to put a family through this blazon of Horror for a "College based Education Program"? More Scam than Teaching.

Terrible client service experience. Signed our daughter up and paid in 2021 for the 2022 program at Johns Hopkins University for the NYLF Advanced Medicine & Healthcare program. Received word 3 days before the cancellation termination date that Hopkins now mandates every student and visitor to exist C19 vaccinated in club to participate in the program. This was not in the original terms of the understanding when we paid for the program and Envision refused to refund the full cost of the program. They insisted on keeping $450 of our money subsequently they inverse the terms of the original agreement. Shady and extremely Discriminatory company. Do not give corporations like this your money, they will only steal from you and breach agreements.

Cheers for reaching out. Unfortunately, the vaccinations are required by the host Academy and outside of our control. In your "Enrollment Information, Understanding and Release" it does land that you agree to abide by the rules of the campus including their policy related to medical screenings and vaccinations and that the cancellation policy would employ. We can work with you lot to find another option if you are open up to it.

Beware!! Requested a full refund as we just received an e-mail notice that our child must be fully vaccinated as per the updated requirement for UC Berkeley, which was Not a requirement at the time that we signed up and paid for the plan back in the Autumn of 2021. Our girl cannot receive the vaccination due to religious beliefs. The initial rep stated she would put in an inquiry and that this matter would be resolved with a response typically in 48hrs. After 48hrs and no response, we had reached out to the representatives and when this was explained to one of the representatives over the phone, he stated that we would be opting for cancellation and would lose our $450 for administrative fees. He also insisted we choose a different location out of state. After searching through their policies online, there was nothing stating that at that place would exist a not-refundable $450 fee. As the rep was trying to browse through his information, information technology was evident that he as well, could not find any policy stating this. Nonetheless, he all the same would not refund the full corporeality. At this point, nosotros requested to speak to a managing director and the all-time the representative could do was put in an research to escalate this matter. This is very unacceptable and I would highly take you reconsider enrolling your child in this type of programme. This experience alone proved that they discriminate, they do not care most families who are investing in their children, and well-nigh importantly do not care about a kid's feel. The program was astounding
The program was phenomenal. I am in awe of the knowledge my scholar received. The exposure to the Stem plan in the manner presented enabled her to run into the plethora of opportunities that await her. Forever grateful.
Completly unorganized overcharging u.s.a. and threating debt collection
I have a unique experience. I take twin boys who attended Envision Camps this year. One in DC at the leadership camp and the other in New York (Explore Stem). The difference betwixt the two camps was rather astonishing, DC campsite went on outings and other social events. NY stayed on campus and had no other activities. I told my wife the comparing of the two camps was, they are told you take 10 dollars to spend and yous get to keep what is left. The leaders of the NY army camp left with a pile of cash and the DC leaders left with none.
We tried to accomplish out to Envision well-nigh this at the end of July and were told nosotros would exist getting a call about how poor the NY camp was run. My wife emailed on a number of occasions and still has non been contacted.
We received a observe after the camp, saying we had a $100.00 balance not paid. I paid for the campsite in full and did not set up a payment programme. My wife emailed Christopher Pugh on August 25th asking about this. We did not get a response. She then chosen the full general number and the person she spoke with could not tell us why we owed $100.00. He could see we had paid in full. We were told at this time our account had been updated and no farther action was needed. She besides asked why we had non been contacted about the NY camp. The person she spoke to said there was a note in our file that "We had been contacted and the trouble had been resolved". We had not been contacted.
Today through email, we received a notice saying if we did not pay $100.00 past September 15th we would be turned over to collections. I personally am tired of dealing with this. We have been given whatsoever explanation as to why we owe $100.00 and the fact Envision would send $100.00 to collections is across annihilation I have ever experienced.

Super friendly staff I felt very secure with leaving my child in the Envisiin plan.Super Educational very positive Experience for my educatee/child.
Id like the program to give feedback to my kid's school that nominated her for the program!
Definitly reccomend it to students interested in the medical field.
Great summertime program
Great summer program. My girl enjoyed every activity and she was learning a lot of stuff at a quick footstep. Not to mention her residential experience was also slap-up. Kudos to the entire Envision team for having put up a neat summer plan for kids and making sure everything went smoothly during these difficult times. One thing we definitely missed this year was outdoor activities during the program. Hopefully, next year things get improve and we could accept that covered as well.
First-class Program and Experience
EnvisionExperience provided a week-long summer plan for high schoolers to explore different engineering disciplines with both hands-on and inquiry-based activities. I gained leadership, interpersonal, accountability, presentation, and critical thinking skills.
The measures they said they would put in place were exactly equally they said, and when ane person tested positive for COVID, they did everything they needed to in order to keep everyone at risk safe.

Wonderful experience
My daughter was nominated by a teacher. The program was delayed due to Covid and I think it worked out for the best. She was then much more comfortable and allowed her to exist excited about the program, be fully engaged. She explained every facet of her week to u.s.a. and anyone who asked. She had such a swell time and learned then much. She has learned to meet the bigger picture of Stem. How things relate and are connected. Great experience all around!

My daughter has just returned from her first Envision experience (medicine)… she absolutely loved it "more than than anything she's done in her life". She was so happy and enthusiastic the unabridged time she was there, in every picture of her yous tin encounter the joy in her optics. I loved the emails keeping me in the loop and the incredible heave in self confidence she seems to have gained from meeting such terrific new friends. She said inside a day her group was super close and it was clear the programme helped bring kids closer. The accommodations were tiptop notch!!
The advisors seem to have had as much fun as the kids and were specialists in a field of study that they shared with the kids. Really professional, incredibly well run program!!
